In the new year, Barcelona may make a move for the attacking midfielder, according to Mundo Deportivo, who claims that the club is keeping an eye on Kai Havertz’s predicament at the Emirates.
Havertz was only signed by Arsenal in June, but under Mikel Arteta, he has already had significant difficulty.
The 24-year-old has appeared in six Premier League games, but has yet to score or assist.
In addition, Havertz has yet to score in either the Champions League or the Carabao Cup.
Justified Chelsea sale
If it hasn’t already, Chelsea’s choice to sell Havertz appears to have been a wise one.
The Blues effectively received their entire investment back after selling the German for £65 million.
Havertz isn’t a horrible player in our opinion. He is everything but; after all, he recently assisted Chelsea in winning the Champions League.
Havertz is a versatile player who is also a member of the Germany national team. However, he did experience some difficulty when playing for Stamford Bridge, and his current situation is not good.
In the end, the former Bayer Leverkusen player may not be a good fit for the Premier League after only scoring seven goals in the top tier for Chelsea last season.
If such is the case and he begins to accept it, he may choose to join a different team, such as Barcelona. But we’re not talking about an elderly man here. Havertz has time to make a difference at Arsenal because he is still relatively young.
