Technically playing in relief of two other runners, Foreman threw and scored three times for Chicago, two of which were field goals.
The Bruins are no strangers to having a player nominated for one of the FedEx Air or FedEx Ground Player of the Week awards, though this year Justin Fields earned the nod. This time, D’Onta Foreman is down.
Foreman saw little use this year, playing in just three games. However, he made up for lost time against the Las Vegas Raiders and played for Chicago, which ended its home losing streak. To help UDFA QB Tyson Bagent secure his first win as a starter, Foreman led Chicago to a victory with 89 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns (120 total yards and 3 TDs).
It was Foreman’s third career game with multiple touchdowns and tied for ninth overall since being drafted by the Texans in 2017.
Foreman will face Kenneth Walker of the Seattle Seahawks and Joshua Kelley of the Los Angeles Chargers. Fans of his work can vote for him here until Wednesday afternoon at 3pm Eastern.
