Since Steve Cooper’s arrival at Nottingham Forest in September 2021, many players have came and gone.
Despite the large number of recruits to his squad since his arrival, the Welshman has been able to form a cohesive unit. Cooper has returned Forest to the top division for the first time in 23 years and has maintained them there for another season.
No fewer than 30 new faces arrived at the City Ground during the club’s first season back in the Premier League in 2022/23 with another 13 new players joining this summer.
Take a look below at who we think are the best signings made by Forest during Steve Cooper’s tenure so far…

The full-back was fantastic for Forest last season after arriving from Liverpool before injury ruled him out for the final month of the 2022/23 campaign

The Brazilian endured a slow start at Forest after arriving from Palmeiras in January but he came to life during the run in to play a key role in the club’s survival bid
8.Willy Boly
The Ivorian centre-back has been ever-present in defence for Forest this season after joining last summer from Wolves
7.Dean Henderson
The shot-stopper barely put a foot wrong at the City Ground before suffering a season-ending injury in January
6.Renan Lodi
Another defender from Atletico Madrid who impressed for the Reds last season before joining Marseille on a permanent deal this summer
5.Felipe
The Brazilian was a rock at the centre of Forest’s defence last season after joining in January from Atletico Madrid

An underrated player in midfield who has been a regular in Steve Cooper’s side since joining from Stuttgart

The right-back has been a solid signing in defence since joining on a free last summer

The striker scored vital goals for Forest towards the back end of last season to keep them in the Premier League
