As the 2023 season draws to a close, we take a look back at a Broncos squad that went above and beyond to achieve achievements deserving of recognition.

A dominant Broncos squad accomplished a unique achievement in the 2023 season by defeating every team in the league at least once en route to their first NRL Grand Final since 2015.

Another club record-tying accomplishment was an 18-win, 6-loss regular season record.

Whilst there were incredible displays of talent on the field, there was also incredible displays of heart off the field from our Broncos members and fans as the club amassed a club record total crowd of 507,970 people at Broncos home games.

Individual records also tumbled in the 2023 season as playmaker Ezra Mam tied the record for the most tries scored by a half in a season (in the NRL era) crossing the line an impressive 18 times in 25 appearances.

Lock Pat Carrigan finally broke his 77-game streak without a try as he scored in round 22 against the Sydney Roosters during the Broncos 32-10 win.

Notably, Carrigan made it two in two, scoring again in round 23 against the North Queensland Cowboys.

Front rower Payne Haas had a season for the ages, making just two errors, 666 tackles (missing only 10), leading the league in average post-contact metres and being the leading forward in average run metres in his 23 NRL games.

Lastly, with 94 goals, captain and goal-kicker Adam Reynolds led the NRL in goals, bringing his career total to 1015 goals in 274 games.

In round 24, the experienced halfback scored his 1000th goal as the Broncos defeated the Parramatta Eels 54-10.
