Lachlan Croker, an accomplished hooker, has extended his contract with the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles by a another two years.
Croker joined the Sea Eagles in 2018 and has since played 104 games for Manly.
Croker’s new contract will keep him with Manly until the end of 2026, after he is released in 2024.
With Manly’s ‘Best and Fairest’ Award last year, Croker enjoyed another successful season in 2023; the extension is a fitting reward.
A former half, the 26-year-old has shown true determination to develop his craft to become a genuine number nine.
Croker was again Manly’s leading defender with 858 tackles from 23 games this season.
Sea Eagles Coach Anthony Seibold praised Croker for his tremendous work ethic.
“Lachlan has been one of our most consistent players over the last two seasons. It’s great for us to be able to extend him out for a further two years,” Seibold said.
“He has played over 100 games for our club now and is a great team man. You know what you are going to get with ‘Crokes’.
“Lachlan is just a fantastic advertisement for our club with regards to how he carries himself on and off the field. We are really excited about extending his contract.”
Afrom the field, Croker is pursuing dual degrees in Sport and Exercise Science and Criminology and Criminal Justice. He represents the club in education as well.
