The Detroit Lions held a walkthrough on Tuesday to begin preparations for their game against the Denver Broncos on Saturday night. The Lions have a chance to break out of their funk after losing two of their past three games in Week 15. Detroit is aiming to reintroduce center Frank Ragnow into the lineup after he missed Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears.

Coach Dan Campbell said Monday that Ragnow’s status for the week was to be determined. If Ragnow is unable to go, Graham Glasgow will remain the team’s starting center. In his place at right guard will either be Kayode Awosika or Colby Sorsdal.

The offensive line struggled without Ragnow. Quarterback Jared Goff fumbled a snap, and the unit allowed four total sacks on the afternoon. It was Awosika who started Sunday against the Bears. The spot-starter earned a season-high 69.9 Pro Football Focus offensive grade, which ranked fourth amongst offensive players. “Well, look, I thought ‘Yode did some good things the other day. I thought it was encouraging,” Campbell told 97.1 The Ticket Tuesday.

“I thought he played better than he did versus Tampa and the last time he played. Graham will be better at center. Graham has played better at center and he’ll play well again. I mean, he’s done it, he’s been good for us. So he’ll be good. And then we’ve got Jonah back. I thought Jonah did some really good things. So I’m encouraged there if Frank’s not available.”

Lions Week 15 Tuesday estimated injury report Taylor Decker — Back (NP) Frank Ragnow — Knee/Back/Toe (LP) Benito Jones — Neck (LP ) Hendon Hooker — Knee (FP)
