SADLY: Green Bay Packers QB Involved In Altercation During Brutal Loss……..
The Green Bay Packers and New York Jets have both underachieved this season. While many didn’t know what to expect from this Jordan Love-led offense in Green Bay, many had hope that the team could still compete for the divisional crown. While the divisional crown may be out of reach, the Packers still have an outside shot to make the playoffs even after falling to 6-8.
The Jets obviously had Super Bowl aspirations this season after trading for Aaron Rodgers this past off-season. Even
though Rodgers went down in Week One with a torn Achilles, many fans thought the rest of the roster had Super Bowl caliber talent. While that may be the case, the team is currently 5-9 and were just eliminated from playoff
contention after their 30-0 loss to the Miami Dolphins. During that loss, one altercation took place on the sideline that has since gone viral
Paolo Songco of Gridiron Heroics highlighted the situation that took place on the sideline on Sunday Instead of these two stars potentially celebrating their on-field heroics for the Jets, Rodgers and Wilson have been left with no other choice but to work on their partnership off the field.
During Sunday’s embarrassing 30-0 shutout loss against the Miami Dolphins, Wilson was seen going off on Rodgers on the sidelines in what appeared to be a heated conversation between the pair
It is unclear why Wilson was so hot, which even saw the 23-year-old putting his hand on Rodgers’ chest at one point in the exchange. For his part, however, the four-time NFL MVP remained as calm as a cucumber, making it look like this was a one-way tirade from a clearly frustrated Wilson.
The fact that the Jets were down 27-0 at that point in the game probably had a lot to do with the wide receiver’s foul mood
Aaron Rodgers has made a few things clear this season when it comes to his return to the field. He won’t return if he isn’t medically able to and “put himself in harms ways,” and he wouldn’t return if the Jets weren’t in competition for the post season.
After being eliminated from playoff contention on Sunday, the Jets will likely have Zach Wilson or Trevor Siemian (or someone else) at quarterback for the remainder of the season
