College football has officially entered the offseason period, as the national championship game ended on Monday with Michigan defeating Washington. Every program is now focused on getting ready for the 2024 college football season. Teams have just finished navigating the first window of the transfer portal, but that doesn’t mean programs are immune to subsequent adjustments.
When approaching the offseason, organizations like Georgia must always keep in mind that other programs are pursuing members of their coaching staff. The Bulldogs have already gone through this once, when defensive backs coach Fran Brown was named head coach at Syracuse at the close of the season, and Georgia then hired Donte Williams from USC.
