The Atlanta Braves, in case you hadn’t heard, have a loaded roster.

Because this is the slowest offseason in Major League Baseball history, the league’s official network is still looking for topics to discuss, so they are ranking individual positions.

Ronald Acuña Jr. has been named the finest rightfielder in baseball as part of the “Top 10 Right Now” campaign.

And, coming off the NL Most Valuable Player award for a season in which he not only had the sixth 40/40 season in history, but also established the 40/50, 40/60, and 40/70 Clubs, it makes sense.

The majority of recent Atlanta Braves news has, obviously, focused on the summer. From discussions about what the Braves’ rotation will look like early in the season, particularly after trading for Chris Sale, to whether or not they will make another move before spring training, the prospect of an extension for Max Fried has resurfaced.

Unlike prior years, the Braves and Fried agreed on a one-year contract rather of going through another arbitration hearing. For some, this felt like a hint that the Braves and Fried were more on the same page than in recent years regarding his worth.
