Pittsburgh According to KPRC2’s Aaron Wilson, the Kansas City Chiefs are signing former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Chris Oladokun to a future/reserve deal, bringing him back for a third season after back-to-back Super Bowl runs.
Despite being a seventh-round pick by the Steelers in 2022, Oladokun did not make the team during his rookie campaign. After the organization re-signed Mason Rudolph before OTAs, he was never really given a chance to contend for a roster berth. Once Rudolph, Mitch Trubisky, and Kenny Pickett entered the room, it was apparent who quarterbacks Pittsburgh would stick with.
Oladokun joined with the Chiefs practice squad after being cut during roster reductions, and he has since won two Super Bowls there.

Along with defensive tackle Isaiah Buggs, the former Steelers draft selection is one of the Pittsburgh players that is currently employed in Kansas City. While on the Chiefs practice squad, Oladokun and Buggs both won Super Bowl LVIII. They will both try to make the team in 2024.
