LAS VEGAS — During the second quarter of Super Bowl LVIII, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce raced down the sideline and shoved coach Andy Reid, who was yelling at him.
Reid wasn’t looking at Kelce when he yelled at him, so it was a startling scene when Kelce made contact with him. Running back Jerrick McKinnon interfered by removing Kelce from the altercation, but Reid, 65, regained his equilibrium and steered away from Kelce.
The Chiefs lost a touchdown opportunity when running back Isaiah Pacheco fumbled at the 49ers’ 9-yard line, which sparked Kelce’s outburst.
