SO Sadly: The Saints player is no where to be found,it was later noticed that…
Cameron Jordan has supported New Orleans through its highs and lows.
After signing with the Saints as a first-round pick in 2011, the defensive end has played all 13 of his NFL seasons there, making the playoffs six times. However, the franchise is currently experiencing its second of two consecutive three-year postseason droughts.
The reign of Mickey Loomis extends even farther back. To finish his 22nd season as general manager, Loomis acknowledged during his January end-of-season news conference that the club and staff had “gotten a little too comfortable” in recent years and that he wanted to “make it uncomfortable.”
The suggestion was that New Orleans’ culture had to alter in order for the city to start winning again, and Jordan talked about this on the Around the NFL podcast during Super Bowl week.
Jordan remarked, “I’ve learned to not wear my GM hat.” “I’ve tried playing this game, but it never seemed to work out. .. You get better at keeping your mouth shut and letting the powerful people handle their business. It’s expected of them to desire more. Three years without a postseason appearance. Perhaps a cultural shock is necessary.
I’ve learned to not put my GM hat on,” Jordan said. “I’ve played this game and it never worked out well. … You learn to shut the hell up and let the up top do what they’re supposed to do. They’re supposed to want more. We’re three years dry of the playoffs. Maybe a culture shock needs to happen.
Whatever it is, I believe that a core group of our players promote positivism, and this year, I really enjoyed our locker room. However, things will need to change if our locker room isn’t performing well. They will say something like, “Hey, Cam,” one day. Your turn, buddy,” and I’ll say something like, “Hey, I hope the Saints win a lot more.” Whatever is necessary. All I want is victory for the Saints.”
