On Wednesday, two members of the Ole Miss women’s basketball team entered the NCAA transfer portal. Junior Elauna Eaton and freshman Marija Avlijas have accessed the portal. They entered just two days after the Rebels’ season ended in the second round of the NCAA Tournament against Notre Dame on Monday in South Bend.

Eaton, a transfer from Arkansas, appeared in 21 games off the bench for the Rebels this season, including a season-high six points against Alcorn State. She recorded a season-high four rebounds against Arkansas. Eaton made six three-pointers for the season and played 5.1 minutes a game.

Avlijas, from Serbia, appeared in 17 games for the Rebels, earning two starts. She had a career-best day in the Battle4Atlantis Championship versus Michigan, scoring 11 points on 5-of-10 shooting and dishing out a season-high three assists. Avlijas has averaged 8.4 minutes per game this season.

Forty-five scouts and personnel from all 32 NFL clubs gathered inside the Manning Center on Wednesday for Ole Miss’ Pro Day, where 17 Rebels showcased their skills in the hopes of pursuing a career in the NFL.
