Two 247Sports Crystal Balls were placed on Friday for Miami running back Henry Parrish to transfer to Ole Miss, where he previously played. National analyst Matt Zenitz and this writer have both predicted Parrish’s return to the Rebels. Parrish, a Miami native, once took handoffs in the Ole Miss backfield before leaving for home.
Parrish stated his intention to enter the NCAA transfer portal 10 days earlier, raising the question of whether he could return to Ole Miss.
Four-star safety Ladarian Clardy declares Ole Miss his leader and prompts Crystal Ball prediction
Four-star safety. Ladarian Clardy spent Thursday visiting the Ole Miss campus, deciding whether or not Oxford would be his future home. After chatting with him earlier, we cast a 247Sports Crystal Ball that Clardy will join the Rebels.
According to 247Sports, the 6-0, 175-pounder from Escambia High School in Pensacola, Fla., is the nation’s No. 15 safety and the No. 18 player in the state of Florida’s 2025 recruiting class. In the industry-generated Composite ranking, he ranks as the No. 16 safety in the country and the No. 30 player from Florida.
“It was fantastic,” Clardy described his visit to Ole Miss. “As soon as I got in, we held the coaches’ meeting with the players. I loved how (safeties) Coach (Wes) Neighbors and (co-defensive coordinator) Coach (Bryan) Brown worked with the players. I loved how they would just break down the plays. They break down the plays and walk through them with everyone, not just the seniors. That really strikes out to me. I enjoy the authenticity, and the players are held to high standards. Nothing is given. Everything you gain is earned through hard labor. I simply want to be a part of anything like that.
