Four-star safety. Ladarian Clardy spent Thursday visiting the Ole Miss campus, deciding whether or not Oxford would be his future home. After chatting with him earlier, we cast a 247Sports Crystal Ball that Clardy will join the Rebels.
The 6-0, 175-pounder out of Escambia High School in Pensacola, Fla., is rated as the nation’s No. 15 safety and the No. 18 player from the state of Florida’s 2025 class per 247Sports. In the industry-generated Composite index, he comes in as the No. 16 safety in the nation and the No. 30 player from the Sunshine State.
It was great,” Clardy stated of his trip to Ole Miss. “As soon as I got in, we held the coaches’ meeting with the players. I loved how (safeties) Coach (Wes) Neighbors and (co-defensive coordinator) Coach (Bryan) Brown worked with the players. I loved how they would just break down the plays. They break down the plays and walk through them with everyone, not just the seniors. That really strikes out to me. I enjoy the authenticity, and the players are held to high standards. Nothing is given. Everything you gain is earned through hard labor. I simply want to be a part of anything like that.
