Kellett offers a plethora of expertise and experience to the brown and gold after a successful career in various high athletic situations spanning two decades.
Kellett was the Physical Performance Coach for the Australian Men’s Cricket team for seven years, working tirelessly to assure top performances during arduous summers and international tours.
Kellett previously worked as the Physical Performance Manager for Tennis Australia, as well as for the Western Bulldogs.
Hawthorn General Manager of Football Operations Max Bailey said the addition of Kellett would benefit the club’s young and talented list immensely.
“We’re thrilled to appoint such an incredibly experienced person in Aaron to spearhead our high performance program,” Bailey said.
“Aaron’s knowledge is first class and I’m sure our players are eager to learn from him as he and his team shape the program to bring the best out of each player.
“He possesses some exceptional leadership and coaching traits, making him a great fit with our playing list as we begin a new chapter.
“In welcoming Aaron, we also farewell Olivia Knowles and acknowledge her service in our AFLW program over the first two seasons.”
