The Penrith Panthers have extended the contract of talented second-rower Josiah Vahaakolo-Fifita to the end of the 2026 season.

Zero Tackle can announce that Vahaakolo-Fifita has agreed to a new contract for another two seasons, with the SG Ball Cup contract keeping him in the junior representative tournament.

The forward, who was a consistent player in the last SG Ball Cup season, joined the club from the Manly Sea Eagles in the middle of last year, with brother Jodeci Vahaakolo-Fifita.

“Josiah has all of the attributes, on and off the field, that makes us want to keep him here,” Panthers Head of Recruitment Jim Jones said via his agent at Ginnen Group Sports.

“He’s a great young man to have around the club”
