Dalibor Dvorsky can’t seem to stay out of the news.

Dvorsky, the prized first-round pick in the 2023 draft, has stated that he intends to compete for a roster place with the St. Louis Blues in 2024-25.

General manager Doug Armstrong has hinted that, of all the prospects, he has the best chance of seeing his dream come true.

On Wednesday, Dvorsky was named to the OHL’s First All-Star Team.

If his play in 2023-24 is any indication of his talent and future performance with the St. Louis Blues, fans in St. Louis may be in for an entertaining ride.

Dvorsky excelled with the Sudbury Wolves, appearing in 52 games, scoring 45 goals, getting 43 assists, and finishing with 88 points.

The figures demonstrate his exceptional talent and scoring ability. Dvorsky, who turns 19, is not assured to play for the Blues next season, but based on Armstrong’s words and the buzz surrounding his name and recent recognitions, there is a good chance that the young skater will join the official roster next year.

A second St. Louis Blues player earned a spot on the OHL Third All-Star Team.

Michael Buchinger, a third-round pick in the 2022 draft, performed admirably in the 2023-24 season.

Buchinger played 52 games for the Guelph Storm, scoring 47 points, including 37 assists.

His previous two seasons demonstrated his promise, scoring 67 points in 2022-23 and 44 points in 2021-22.

His ability to maintain consistency distinguishes him as a promising possibility for the next years.
