The Kentucky Wildcats will welcome a huge 5-star visitor in June.

Small forward Will Riley is one of the top players in the 2025 class, having been pursued by Kentucky under John Calipari and now Mark Pope. Riley is coming off a monster weekend on the AAU circuit, where he scored 42 points on 15 of 16 shooting. Riley said in an interview with Sam Lance of the Zags Blog that he plans to visit Kentucky in June.

“I’ve been talking with the head coach. A small portion of the assistance. I’m attempting to schedule a visit with them. Mark Pope and I have spoken briefly, but he has been speaking with my manager a lot. Riley is scheduled to visit Kentucky and Alabama in June, though no specific date has been determined. The 6-foot-8, 180-pound Canadian is ranked as high as eighth overall in the 2025 class by On3. He plays at The Phelps School in Pennsylvania and has had scholarship offers from UCLA, Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Michigan, Villanova, Illinois, and Oregon, among others.

Riley doesn’t officially hold a scholarship offer from Kentucky, but I’d wager Mark Pope has a spot for him. Expect that offer to be officially made during the trip to Lexington if it hasn’t already.

This is a special kid that Kentucky would be very lucky to land. Let’s see if Coach Pope can reel in his first 5-star high school recruit.
