Oregon State football is wrapping out June with a flurry of recruiting pledges, the latest of which comes from Texas cornerback David Madison. The 6-foot, 160-pound senior from Plano, Texas, is the fourth athlete to pledge to Oregon State in the past 72 hours.
The Beavers’ 2025 recruiting class has nine high school seniors. Madison is the second defensive back to commit, joining Sean Craig of Henderson, Nevada.
Madison, who attends Prestonwood Christian, had offers from North Dakota State, UTEP, Texas State and Lamar. OSU offered Madison in early May. Madison is also accomplished in track, as he’s a near-23 footer in long jump, and has cleared 6-8 in high jump.
Madison joins Craig, offensive linemen Jake Normoyle (West Linn), Brian Tapu (Salt Lake City) and Noah Thomas (Vancouver), receiver Ellijah Washington (California), running back Kourdey Glass (California), edge rusher Jesse Myers (California), and linebacker Jeremiah Ioane (Nevada).
