Arkansas basketball big Trevon Brazile opted to re-enter the NBA draft after withdrawing it a few weeks ago. Last season was a disappointment for everyone, especially Brazile. During the 2022-23 season, he looked like the real thing. It all began with a viral dunk versus South Dakota State. Later in Maui, he and Anthony Black were quite the duo, scoring 105 points in three games. Two games later, Brazile led the squad in scoring with 23 points. Unfortunately, his season ended with a torn ACL in the very next game.

The 2023-24 season was supposed to be his redemption year. But a nagging knee injury, off-the-court controversy, and an underperforming team ensured that wouldn’t happen.

Now, nearly two years after his injury, he has a fresh start at an old school. He’s the only person returning to the program, including the coaching staff. For Brazile, coming back to Arkansas is the best of both worlds.

The Razorbacks have four more roster spots to fill, with Brazile taking the ninth seat.
