The prog-pop band’s shows will take place across North America in the summer and autumn
Jeff Lynne’s ELO, the modern-day version of Jeff Lynne and his band Electric Light Orchestra, has scheduled a farewell tour. The Over and Out Tour will take place across North America this summer and autumn, beginning on August 24 in Palm Desert, California and ending on October 25 in Los Angeles, when Lynne and the band will say their goodbyes. See the list of tour dates below. Electric Light Orchestra released popular pop-rock and prog albums in the 1970s and 1980s before disbanding in 1986. Jeff Lynne went on to record two solo albums of his own, Armchair Theatre (1990) and Long Wave (2012), before rejoining the group under the pseudonym Jeff Lynne’s ELO.
Back in 2020, Jeff Lynne was made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE), an honor that he said he was “extremely humbled and grateful” to receive. “To be recognised for my work is an extraordinary privilege,” he added.
