Kalen DeBoer and his recruitment crew have had a great summer. The Crimson Tide has the second-best recruiting class in the USA, with the highest average player rank of any program. The class includes newly ranked five-stars Keelon Russell (QB) and Dijon Lee (CB), as well as 12 other players in the revised Top247 and eight defensive commits ranked in the top 100.
The “Dead” Period was anything but. So far this month, the Crimson Tide has added two additional commits: Justin Hill (WOLF) and Kaleb Edwards (TE). The top performers committed on July 2 and 3, respectively. It has been relatively quiet on the announcement front in recent days, but a number of uncommitted top targets are approaching decision dates, with some anticipated to make decisions sooner rather than later.
