Golden State Warriors news: Stephen Curry and LeBron James have had plenty of memorable on-court battles throughout the years. This summer, however, these two living heroes will be on the same side, attempting to lead Team USA to a gold medal win at the forthcoming Olympic Games. It’s also evident that these two are enjoying the opportunity to play together.
Stephen Curry Gives LeBron James His Flowers
For his part, there’s no denying that Curry holds LeBron is very high regard. In a recent interview, the GOAT shooter made his thoughts about the NBA’s all-time leading scorer abundantly clear:
“He was the shining star of the future of basketball before he even started high school,” Steph stated (via Legion Hoops on X, formerly Twitter). “He increased the overall standard of the league and has continued to do so. “The ultimate champion.”
No lies detected here.
Speaking of championships, both Curry and LeBron have four titles to their respective names. At this point, there’s no way to tell which of them will get to five first — or if either of them ever will.
Right now, though, they are both working toward a single goal, which is to come back home to the United States with a gold medal around their necks.
