The post Pantera Performs “Walk” With Metallica Members During Minneapolis Club Show: Watch appeared first on Consequence. Pantera performed a last-minute club gig at Minneapolis’ First Avenue on Thursday night (August 15th), before to their support position on Metallica’s “M72 World Tour” tonight (August 16th) at neighboring US Bank Stadium. Metallica’s Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo made a surprise appearance during the song “Walk.” Tickets for the First Avenue performance went on sale just two days before the event, and people rushed to get them. Concertgoers were treated to a 12-song set that included hits like “A New Level,” “I’m Broken,” “Cowboys From Hell,” and the rarely heard “Yesterday Don’t Mean Shit.”

The biggest surprise came when Hammett and Trujillo ran onstage from the sidelines and helped sing the anthemic chorus to “Walk.” Each of the Metallica members received big hugs from Pantera singer Philip Anselmo as they yelled the iconic “Re-spect / Walk” line in their respective mics.

Pantera have been supporting the Friday shows in each city of Metallica’s “M72 World Tour,” which sees the latter band playing two unique sets over two nights in each town on Fridays and Sundays.

The final North American leg of the outing recently launched and runs through a September 29th show in Mexico City, with tickets for the upcoming dates available here.
