Alabama Crimson Tide Head Coach Kalen DeBoer Speaks About Former President Donald Trump Attending the Game Against the Georgia Bulldogs
DeBoer spoke to the media on Monday ahead of the Georgia Bulldogs matchup. Everyone knows that Donald Trump will be in attendance at the game on Saturday night. He is competing against Kamala Harris for the 2024 presidential election. Kalen DeBoer said to Nick Kelly of alabama.com about Trump showing up to the game by saying:
“I’m sure there’s going to be a lot of celebrity-type people here, people that want to come be a part of what’s happening on gameday. It’s going to be, everyone’s watching. So it’d be great to have everyone who wants to come watch be here. For us, I told the guys this, with (College) GameDay and everything coming here as well, for the guys to try to take as much off their plate, other than maybe a few extra interviews towards the end of the week. The main thing is they get prepared to play the best football game that they’ve played this year. I always challenge them to play the best football game they’ve ever played in their career. That’s what matters when it comes down to what we can control. But yeah, it is kind of cool to have a lot of people who want to come be part of the atmosphere and add to the excitement and energy that the game will bring.”
This is not the first time that the former President has attended an Alabama Crimson Tide game at home. There will be a lot of critical things at stake when the Georgia Bulldogs face the Alabama Crimson Tide.
