I’m guessing Detroit Lions safety Kerby Joseph doesn’t have a lot of fans in Los Angeles. Last year, Joseph was called out by Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford after he hit tight end Tyler Higbee low, resulting in a torn ACL and MCL. Higbee has still not returned to the lineup since that January collision.

Stafford was mic’d up for the game and went straight up to Joseph following the play to call him dirty.

“Hey! Hey! Hey, that’s a good hit. That’s a good hit, (but) you’re dirty as [censored], though, and you know it,” Stafford said. “You’re dirty as [censored]. It’s been on tape. I’ve seen it. Hey, it’s been on tape.”

Joseph brushed off the criticism in the moment, but this week, he seemed to get his revenge. Not only did Joseph pick off Stafford in this past Sunday’s season opener, but he also went on Instagram to seemingly troll the Rams quarterback.

Joseph posted a series of photos and a video of his interception against the Rams, but it was the caption that was poetic justice for the Lions’ safety.

Joseph is no stranger to talking trash and celebrating his interceptions in creative ways. You may remember after picking off Aaron Rodgers’ last pass as a Green Bay Packer, he claimed he was going to send it to Rodgers to sign it.

Some will probably be put off by Joseph’s “antics,” but I’m here for it. After all, this team is all about being a villain, right?
