Skid Row guitarist Scotti Hill commented on the potential of a reunion with singer Sebastian Bach, stating it would end up like the Jane’s Addiction on-stage conflict.

Skid Row has firmly denied the notion of a reunion with Sebastian Bach many times in the past. They’ve expressed their belief that any relationship with the singer ended when he was fired in 1996 and that there’s no possibility of a great change in attitude.

Despite this, fans have been speaking about the idea for years and years. Notably, Bach himself has expressed a desire to play with his former bandmates many times in the past, even claiming that their interpersonal conflict stemmed from a “miscommunication.”

Speaking to Hear 2 Zen, guitarist Scotti Hill addressed this hypothetical scenario, stating it could easily end in an altercation, much like Jane’s Addiction’s reunion did:

“I understand why people want that, but it wouldn’t be how they remembered it. It wouldn’t be what they expected. They would be disappointed, we would be unhappy. We just saw what happens when you try to do something like that… Talking about Jane’s Addiction. It’s terrible what happened to those guys. I feel terrible for them. But some reunions maybe shouldn’t happen.”

The musician continued, noting there’s “a lot on the line” when a band tours:

“Their whole crew… boom, just like that, ‘Okay, you’re out of work.’ That’s affecting a good amount of people and affecting their families. It affects [all] the people that put tours together. The average fan doesn’t understand how many parts there are to make this thing happen.”

Hill ended by expressing his hopes that the members of Jane’s Addiction will pull through, at least on a personal level:

“It sucks what happened with that whole thing – but I hope everybody comes through it healthy and back on their feet. When I saw that go down, I could relate to it on many different ways – many ways. I’ve been on both sides of that coin.”
