It looked like the Big One might not happen at Talladega Sunday in the YellaWood 500. But with just four laps to go a big crash came and in a big way.
The wreck involved 28 cars including playoff contenders Austin Cindric, who was just outside the lead in the race, Chase Elliott, Joey Logano, Alex Bowman, Tyler Reddick and Chase Briscoe.
Cindric had led for 29 laps.
The crash began when Brad Keselowski gave Cindric a push and sent Cindric spinning into the race leader Ricky Stenhouse Jr.
Stenhouse went on to win the race edging out Keselowski by 0.006 of a second. William Byron was third, Kyle Larson was fourth and Erik Jones was fifth. .
