Mason Short, a four-star offensive lineman, will announce his commitment on April 5. The 6-foot-5.5, 300-pound offensive tackle hails from Evans, Georgia.

Short’s four finalists are Ohio State, Kentucky, Clemson, and Georgia. On January 16, he decommitted from Alabama after head coach Nick Saban announced his retirement.

Short is the No. 222 overall prospect and the No. 13 interior offensive lineman in the 2025 class. According to the On3 industry rankings, he is Georgia’s No. 5 interior offensive lineman and No. 30 player.

He earned second-team MaxPreps Sophomore All-American honors and was named the Offensive Lineman of the Year by Born to Compete in 2022. Short also earned Preseason MaxPreps Junior All-American honors this season.

Georgia is the strong favorite to land Short’s commitment, according to the On3 RPM.
