Jakore Smith is motivated after receiving an offer from Alabama Football.

Smith attended Parkview Magnetic in Arkansas and is a promising linebacker prospect. He has seven college football offers, including those from Florida State, Missouri, Notre Dame, and others. The Arkansas product believes his Alabama offer will motivate him to strive even harder.

“This my biggest offer, but I still know I got room for improvement and this offer is not going to make me big-headed or cocky,” Smith said in an interview with Touchdown Alabama. “Alabama’s offer will motivate me to strive harder. I feel like I’m expected to achieve much more at a higher level.”

The sophomore respects the Tide’s program and its past success. He is also confident in the direction the programs is headed under Kalen DeBoer.

“They are still at the standard they were at last year even with the new coaching staff,” Smith said.

At 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds, Smith gets after ball carriers as an inside linebacker. He flies all over the field and can cover ground quickly.

“I am a sideline-to-sideline linebacker and my motor is high,” said Smith
