When the Alabama Crimson Tide came calling late last month, Omarion Robinson finally got the opportunity he had been waiting for.

Robinson is a junior at Parkview Magnet in Little Rock, Arkansas. The 2025 prospect currently garners a four-star rating from multiple recruiting sites, and he holds more than 20 college football offers.

“It means a lot,” Robinson told Touchdown Alabama. “I’ve always wanted to be offered by Alabama and even though Saban is not there anymore, it still means a lot.”

Robinson is a dynamic high school football player, who makes plays in multiple facets of the game. However, he looks the most polished at defensive back as he smoothly flows around the field with great hip fluidity. His ability to transition from back peddling to breaking on the football or coming downhill to make a tackle is really impressive.

Former Alabama DL named high school head coach

Former Alabama football defensive lineman, Nick Gentry was announced as the new head football coach at Pell City High School on Saturday.

Gentry played at Alabama from 2009 to 2011. He finished his career in Tuscaloosa with 44 tackles, seven tackles for loss and five sacks. He was a part of two BCS National Championship teams during his college career.

The former Alabama lineman takes over at Pell City after Rush Propst resigned on Friday.
