Nick Saban’s pay for his new role with Alabama Athletics has been revealed.

According to Nick Kelly of the Tuscaloosa News, Saban officially started his new position with Alabama on March 1 as his title went from head coach to “professional”.

Saban will have an office in Bryant-Denny Stadium, replacing his office in the Mal Moore Athletic facility. He will be making $500,000,04 annually.

The University of Alabama Athletic Director Greg Byrne described Saban’s new role with the program as an “advisor” position.

Saban will also be a part of ESPN’s College GameDay team. As an analyst for ESPN, he will also cover events such as SEC media days and the NFL draft.

Nick Saban Is Not Actually Retiring From Football And Will Still Get Paid A Small Fortune By Alabama

Nick Saban resigned from his position as head coach at the University of Alabama. He retired as a coach, but not from collegiate football.

In fact, the Crimson Tide will continue to pay him a lot for a full-time position!

Saban, 72, made it plain that he will continue to be involved in the Tuscaloosa program after hanging up the headset. His Ferrari was parked outside the team facilities immediately after Kalen DeBoer was named as his successor. Alabama put him to work as a recruiter at the spring game in April.

It was not for free.

The greatest coach of all-time is going to take a pay cut of more than $10 million. However, Saban is still getting paid more than eight times the average American’s annual salary, as listed by the U.S. Bureau of Labor. He will make $41,666.67 per month.
