Oregon State received their highest-rated commit in the class of 2025 when Henderson (NV) Green Valley cornerback Trey Glasper chose the Beavers over fellow finalists Colorado State and San Diego State. Glasper paid an official visit in June, and the players’ and coaches’ ties stood out.
Glasper took an official visit back in June, and standing out were the relationships amongst the players and between the coaches.
‘The relationship between all the players as well as the coaches. All the players and coaches have great relationships with one another. Another thing that stood out to me is that a majority of the current coaching staff as well as the graduate assistants played at Oregon State so being able to witness everybody’s ties to the program was a very nice thing”.
Spending time with players and the coaching staff was the highlight of Glasper’s trip to Corvallis.
“My favorite part of the trip was getting to hang out with the players and the coaches. Being around everybody was great for me because I got to build connections with both players and coaches that I didn’t know before. All the conversations I had there were great and they were all good, genuine people”.
Glasper spent time with true freshman Exodus Ayers, who enrolled on campus back in January.
“I think I spent the most time with Exodus Ayers, an early enrollee DB. It was a great experience for me because I also plan on enrolling early in college and getting some insight on that from him was great”.
Glasper has the ability to play on either side of the ball, as he made 34 catches for 374 yards and seven scores.
He is seen as a cornerback prospect though in the eyes of the Beaver staff, as he made 41 tackles and intercepted six passes last season.
Glasper is the fourth defensive back commit for the Beavers, joining Sean Craig, David Madison and Zephen Walker.
