England has produced some of the most successful rock bands of all time—and counted among them is Pink Floyd. Decades after their most important and creative period, the group continues to chart well in the U.K., both with older collections and with newer offerings…though there aren’t many projects included in the latter category.

Usually, Pink Floyd’s albums keep them on the weekly rankings. That’s certainly the case this time around, but the band also manages to land a hit single, even appearing inside the a very competitive region on one tally.

Pink Floyd claims one top 40 hit in the United Kingdom this frame. “Hey Hey Rise Up” with Andriy Khlyvnyuk returns to the Official Vinyl Singles chart this week, where it lands at No. 40.

As it reaches the top 40 area once more on the vinyl-only tally, Pink Floyd’s recent single also breaks back onto another list. “Hey Hey Rise Up” is back on the Official Physical Singles roster, where it currently sits at No. 53.

In the past, “Hey Hey Rise Up” has topped both tallies. It’s spent more than a year on the Official Physical Singles chart, but so far, just 35 frames on the Official Vinyl Singles list—though it adds to those numbers this time around.

Pink Floyd returned to record and release “Hey Hey Rise Up” in support of Ukraine, amidst the country’s ongoing war with Russia. The band shared the track in spring 2022, when the aggression was ramping up. All proceeds generated by the tune, which features famed Ukrainian musician Khlyvnyuk, are being donated to a humanitarian relief fund for those affected by the struggle in Eastern Europe.

As that single returns, Pink Floyd sees several albums find space on the charts as well. The Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall both appear on four rankings apiece. Wish You Were Here, meanwhile, can be found on just one tally, but it helps give the band a trio of wins on the Official Rock & Metal Albums roster.
