NASCAR driver Joey Logano recently shared what he saw of the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene in North Carolina. The NASCAR community has come together to provide support and aid to those affected by the natural phenomenon.
Helene has wreaked havoc on the southeastern states of the USA. The state of North Carolina has suffered the worst of it. Recently, Logano went to the Western parts of North Carolina to provide aid and relief to those affected. On his return, the Penske driver shared his experience in an interview with NBC Sports’ Dustin Long. Logano said,
“It’s…Oh my God, talking to some of them, the problems and things that hurdles that you’re going to have to cross to live is some of the most sad scenarios you can ever dream of. Losing your family members, cleaning up, trying to find bodies, trying to figure out if you have any value in your home at all, if you can get any money out of it, burial costs.
