The North London Derby performance by Destiny Udogie left Leeds attacker Wilfried Gnonto, who had been linked with a switch to Tottenham during the summer transfer window, speechless.

The match at the Emirates was definitely the hardest test of Udogie’s Premier League career to date and arguably the biggest game of his career thus far.

After being warned early on in the game and facing one of the top strikers in the division in Bukayo Saka, some may have feared the worse.

The Tottenham player, however, once more displayed maturity beyond his years and kept Saka quiet for the rest of the game as Spurs managed to escape with a grueling 2-2 draw.

Gnonto was undoubtedly impressed by the performance put on by his Italy Under-21 teammate on Sunday.

The 19-year-old was reportedly on Tottenham’s radar during the summer transfer window (LondonWorld), and some publications even said at the time that he was eager to leave Elland Road.
