According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, the Carolina Panthers have reached an agreement to sign former Green Bay Packers offensive tackle Yosh Nijman.

The 28-year-old played in 17 games this season, primarily as a depth piece at tackle. Nijman has played both tackle positions over his four-year career and will most likely be Carolina’s next swing tackle. He’s played 67 games (22 starts), giving the Panthers a proven No. 2 option if Ikem Ekwonu or Taylor Moton go down, or if Ekwonu’s difficulties continue into year three.

According to Bill Huber of Packer Central on FanNation, Nijman allowed 10 sacks and 58 total pressures in 943 pass-protecting snaps over three years. That equals 94.3 snaps per sack and 16.3 snaps each pressure.
