This past season, Jalen Milroe and the Alabama Crimson Tide faced off against the Michigan Wolverines.

The Tide and Wolverines faced in the College Football Playoff semifinal at the Rose Bowl, with Michigan going on to win the CFP national championship over Washington.

Milroe didn’t throw a touchdown, didn’t rush for a touchdown, and was largely shut down by a dominating Michigan defense, but it doesn’t sound like he’s resentful now that we’re well into the offseason.

Milroe, who recently joined the “Bussin With the Boys” podcast, wasn’t interested in delving into the details with host Taylor Lewan, who played at Michigan from 2009 to 2013 before going on to have a successful NFL career.

“It doesn’t matter; they won,” Milroe stated (via On3). “They won.” “It doesn’t matter; they won.”

The Alabama quarterback is obviously choosing the high road. This is despite suspicions of cheating against Michigan last season, including a sign-stealing scheme that former head coach Jim Harbaugh may or may not have been aware of.

There was also that pesky issue concerning recruiting during a COVID-19 dead period, which resulted to the school being placed on a three-year probationary period by the NCAA, which involves a fine, recruiting limitations, and show-cause agreements for those

Well, agreements for everybody besides Harbaugh, who skipped town for the Los Angeles Chargers.

“One former coach did not participate in the agreement, and that portion of the case will be considered separately by the committee on Infractions, after which the committee will release its full decision,” the statement from the NCAA

While the NCAA still hasn’t had its final say on Harbaugh, let’s consider Alabama over it all.

It’s a new day at Alabama. Nick Saban has retired and Kalen DeBoer, Washington’s former coach, is the new man in charge in Tuscaloosa.

Why bring up the past?
