Tuesday’s one-sided game between the Tampa Bay Rays and Milwaukee Brewers quickly became acrimonious.

The Brewers led the Rays 8-2 in the top of the eighth inning at American Family Field in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Rays outfielder Jose Siri was the first batter up in the inning against Brewers relief pitcher Abner Uribe. Siri softly grounded out to Brewers first baseman Rhys Hoskins as Uribe covered the first-base bag.

Uribe and Siri began chirping as the latter walked off first base. Before the umpires could take control of the situation, Uribe and Siri exchanged blows. Benches from both sides cleared.

Both Uribe and Siri were removed from the competition.

The rest of the game was routine, as the Brewers defeated the Rays 8-2.

Given the outcome of the team’s Monday game, the victory had to feel good for Milwaukee. The previous game saw the Brewers look to tie in the ninth inning on a passed ball from Rays catcher Rene Pinto. However, thanks to a dubious verdict, the Rays defeated the Brewers 1-0.
