This year’s NFL offseason saw the Kansas City Chiefs replenish their roster with new talent. At the wide receiver position, it was evident that they wanted to give Patrick Mahomes more dynamic weapons to work with.
Marquise “Hollywood” Brown was signed in free agency, which was one of the most underappreciated transactions of the summer. His acquisition alone will create an opportunity for Mahomes to make a big play downfield. Xavier Worthy was also picked in the 2024 NFL Draft and possesses excellent speed and playmaking talents.
As has been the case since Mahomes joined the Kansas City Chiefs, the team has been all about the big play. That changed a bit in 2023, which was a concern, but they have improved where they needed to in order to bring that aspect of their offense back.

David Carr, a former NFL quarterback and current pundit, spoke out against the Kansas City Chiefs’ offseason moves, calling them “terrifying” for opponents.
