On Monday, four Alabama players were named to the Walter Camp Football Foundation preseason All-America team.

Guard Tyler Booker and kicker Graham Nicholson were first-team selections, while center Parker Brailsford and punter James Burnip were second-team picks.

Booker, a junior, is expected to go early in the 2025 NFL draft. Burnip is in his fourth season as Alabama’s punter, and Nicholson (Miami-Ohio) and Brailsford (Washington) are also incoming transfers. Brailsford lost time this spring due to non-football reasons, but he remains with the team and is expected to start at center.

The NCAA’s record book recognizes five postseason All-America lists: the Walter Camp Football Foundation, the FWAA, the AFCA, the Associated Press, and Sporting News. In August, the Associated Press and Sporting News announce their preseason All-America selections.

In 2023, Alabama had no first-team Walter Camp postseason All-America choices, but Miami-Ohio had Nicholson on the first team. Last season, Alabama’s cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry, offensive tackle JC Latham, and outside linebacker Dallas Turner earned the Walter Camp second team before being picked by the NFL.
