Colin Cowherd makes bold prediction for Georgia-Alabama clash on Saturday.

The best early season matchup awaits this weekend as conference play picks up and the No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs enter hostile Tuscaloosa, Alabama for a battle with SEC rival No. 4 Alabama Crimson Tide in what should be one of the most anticipated matchups of the college football season.

Colin Cowherd host of “The Herd” on Fox Sports is one who doesn’t mince words on his opinions and predictions and he did just that when making his final call on the showdown this week between two powerhouse SEC programs on Thursday.

Cowherd clearly has a lot of faith in Jalen Milroe, who possesses both the experience and talent to put his team in a strong position to win this game. So far this season, Milroe has amassed 590 passing yards, thrown eight touchdowns, and has yet to throw an interception. Additionally, he has showcased his dual-threat ability with 36 carries for 156 yards and six rushing touchdowns.

Georgia head coach Kirby Smart holds a 1-4 record against Alabama when both teams are ranked in the top five. This weekend’s matchup will also feature “College GameDay” in attendance, and interestingly, the road team is 4-0 in such games this season (excluding Week Zero).

However, Cowherd is not swayed by these trends and is firmly backing the Tide to emerge victorious.
