How is Aston Villa’s injury situation looking ahead of their next game against Zrinjski Mostar on Thursday night?

Unai Emery’s men got back some much-needed confidence over the weekend when they thrashed a usually hard-to-beat Brighton side 6-1. They now turn attention back to the Europa Conference League after losing their opener in the competition, and they are going to need to defeat Zrinjski at home, with the Bosnians having won their opener.

After having surgery for a major knee injury, Buendia is out for the remainder of the campaign.

Another one who underwent knee surgery and is out for the year.

Mossa diaby; absent

Emery has said: “After our match on Saturday, they didn’t train, Boubacar and Diaby. They are not ready, they are not available.”
