West Ham have agreed to another long-term contract with Jarrod Bowen, who is “tipped” to make David Moyes’ first squad soon.

Jarrod Bowen has signed a new contract with West Ham.

The Hammers received some fantastic news this week as talented winger Bowen agreed to new terms with the club. His strong early-season form and regeneration throughout 2023 has resulted in a new and enhanced deal that will carry Bowen into his 30s with the club – assuming they don’t sell for a significant transfer price in the coming years.

Moyes’ favorite has had a busy week, having been called up by Gareth Southgate for England’s next friendly against Australia and Euro 2024 qualifier against Italy. Bowen is West Ham’s leading scorer this season, having created history with his Europa Conference League-winning goal against Fiorentina in Prague last season. The ex-Hull City player’s future looks bright, as he recently voiced his excitement at signing a new seven-year contract at the London Stadium.

“I’m so pleased to have signed a new long-term contract at West Ham,” Bowen stated in a statement. “Everyone knows how much this Club means to me, so committing my future until 2030 means a lot to my family and me.” I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time here.

West Ham United contract news: Dan Rigge
Other players associated with new contracts include Tomas Soucek, Pablo Fornals, and Vladimir Coufal, who are all nearing the end of their current contracts. West Ham striker Michail Antonio has also signed a contract extension, with Moyes and technical director Tim Steidten reportedly making major choices behind the scenes.

Youngsters like Ben Johnson and Conor Coventry, on the other hand, have not been so fortunate, as recent West Ham transfer news has hinted that they would be permitted to depart when their contracts expire next year. Dan Rigge, a 17-year-old youthful wonder, appears to be another youngster who is impressing Moyes.

The midfielder, who is “highly regarded” at West Ham, has signed a new long-term contract following Bowen and is “being tipped to push” for Moyes’ first team in the near future (Football Insider). The England youth international was reportedly being courted by a number of clubs, but he has now officially committed to the west Londoners.

Following a reported “breakthrough” in negotiations, it is believed Rigge and West Ham reached a full agreement on terms prior to the official club announcement yesterday, which is even better news for West Ham given how highly regarded he is.
