Koby Howard, a four-star wide receiver from Chaminade-Madonna in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, had intended to enrol at the University of Florida last month, but his plans ultimately fell through. He tried to return to Gainesville after being unable to visit the UF campus, and he has a date in mind for early March.

In its second season under head coach Todd Golden, Florida has accomplished a lot, and it’s definitely no coincidence or act of good fortune.
At slightly over 75% of the way through the season, the Gators’ adjusted offensive efficiency places them among the best teams in the country. They’ve won six of their last seven SEC games, including two wins over top-15 teams in Kentucky and Auburn, thanks to significantly improved defensive play in recent weeks. Golden has stated that these results should be enough to put his team “about as close to a lock in the NCAA Tournament as you can at this point,” an accomplishment that will go a long way in defining their success this season, provided it comes to winning.
With three wins in their final seven regular season games, Florida would set a new conference record with 17-7 overall. Under Golden, the Gators have already eclipsed their win total from the first year.
In the afternoon on Friday, Golden stated, “We’re playing really good ball.”
That doesn’t imply that everything has been flawless, though, and Golden seems to prefer that his team’s flaws continue to be the centre of attention in addition to being highly aware of them.

Since KenPom No. 203 Merrimack held the Gators to just 30 points in the first half and took a one-point lead into halftime during their early non-conference schedule, the Gators have struggled relatively regularly against those defensive strategies.
