According to reports coming out of Italy for the past week or so, Pierre-Emile Hjbjerg wants to leave Tottenham Hotspur after being forced to play only as a substitute under Ange Postecoglou.

The 28-year-old’s agent is reportedly working to find a solution for his client, according to a report from Calciomercato three days ago.

The agent was expected to meet with Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli on Thursday, according to Corriere dello Sport, to discuss his prospective plans for the Tottenham player.

The Serie A team’s interest in the midfielder is also discussed in Friday’s Gazzetta dello Sport, as they would need to bolster that position in January, particularly if Paul Pogba’s suspension is not removed.

According to reports, the Turin club is’very popular’ with the international from Denmark.
Because both Tottenham and the former Southampton player are “not open” to a loan deal in the winter market, the publication says that the negotiations with the Premier League team are “not expected to be very easy.”

According to Gazzetta, Hjbjerg and his employer are only interested in a permanent transfer, which Juve is finding challenging to execute in January.
