Kalen DeBoer, Alabama’s new head coach, has big shoes to fill. Crimson Tide football fans have always had high expectations, especially after the great Nick Saban dynasty. However, it looks that coach Saban has continued to assist DeBoer during the transition period.
Kalen DeBoer recently spoke with sports radio presenter Jim Rome. The couple talked about a range of things, including Nick Saban. DeBoer gushed about the former Alabama coach and only had positive things to say about him.
“He’s amazing,” DeBoer said. “He’s been so respectful in every way.”
DeBoer noted that Saban’s continued presence around the football program has been helpful for him and for players. Nearly all of the players in the program committed because they wanted to play for coach Saban.
“He’s just been so respectful, trying to allow me to make it mine,” DeBoer added on Saban.
