The Boston Celtics have one of the best young players in the game right now.
While some consider Jayson Tatum one of the most promising guys in the league, he has to rise to be considered a legitimate superstar.

At least that’s what NFL legend Randy Moss seems to think when he recently presented Tatum with a signed jersey and memorabilia (via Tatum and ClutchPoint).

It should be noted that the people of Boston loved Moss’ dominance during his days in New England, and the same fans support Zero now.
The Celtics have been one of the most active in negotiations this offseason. They traded for Kristaps Porzingis and also doubled down by getting Jrue Holiday.
Losing Marcus Smart, Robert Williams III and Grant Williams could be a big blow to Joe Mazzulla’s rotation.

But Boston simply has no more room for excuses; it’s time to finish the job.
This season is crucial for Tatum and he is eligible to sign a supermax contract extension next season.

The Celtics can only commit north of $600 million to two players, having already signed Jaylen Brown to the largest extension in league history. There are still doubts about their ability to co-exist and win together, and if they can’t get over the hump with this new and revamped supporting cast, it might be time to consider parting ways for good.
