Ange Postecoglou is not only flying at the top of the table at Tottenham, the former Celtic boss is now in a league of his own down south.

And last night’s 2-0 home win against Fulham means the Australian has the most Premier League managerial points from his first nine games, ahead of Mike Walker and Guus Hiddink. Since moving from Glasgow to north London in the summer, Postecoglou has led Spurs to a remarkable seven wins from nine games, taking them to 23 points – two ahead of champions Manchester City.

Itandi Tottenhamand#039’s best start to a season since winning the double in 1960-61 and Postecoglouand#039’s side are one of only two unbeaten teams in the EPL so far, the other being rivals Arsenal.
With incredible form, some fans and pundits are dreaming of a first championship win in 62 years.

And while Postecoglou is unfazed, only eight teams in Premier League history have started a campaign with more points, four as champions, three finishing second and one third.

Speaking after #039’s win on Monday night, Hoops Treble winner Postecoglou said: “I think I’ve sat here every week and said we’ve still got a long way to go. It won’t change. We’re nine games in and we’re still building something.
andquot;It would be much easier for me to sit here ;. I say we have to improve, and that puts a responsibility on me to make sure we do. We can be better, we absolutely can.
andquot;

I was really disappointed in the second half, with the ball we were not nearly at the same level as all year. It’s probably the worst 45 minutes we’ve played with the ball all year.andquot;
